how to geek it out...

So I'm fine with my title of geek/nerd/whatever. I realize that some of my dear readers may be wanting to know how they can get such recognized but somewhat obscure "titles" so I thought I'd share with you today :)

1) No matter what people tell you, you CAN still watch "cartoons" (although we nerds like to refer to it as anime)
2) Read online comics such as Penny Arcade
3) Read regular print comics for that matter :)
4) Continue to play video games well beyond your 18th year of living
5) It helps to be obsessed with one or more of the above things

(Note: there are other things that help you geek out... like the SCA but that's only for the extreme nerd in you. If you're willing to do that, then you get nerd kuodos from us lesser nerds :) )

Qualifiers: Number 4 has some constingencies... cool people play video games too, the nerd aspect is when it interferes with your social life or becomes your social life
